The Mantis weed reducer cuts back the amount of stringy weeds that could wrap around the tine shaft of the transmission. If weeds collect on the tine shaft, this pair of weed reducers make it easier to remove them. They install quickly on the tine shaft of any Mantis tiller/cultivator. A pair of steel inserts that fit between the tine and the gearbox. These free-wheeling inserts prevent weeds from attaching and tangling around the tine shaft.
